Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
To Debbie, family is everything. She has been happily married to her husband, Chuck, for 30+ years. She has 3 children - Tyler (31) and wife Christy, Kirsten (30) and husband Erik Ringwald, and Rachel (24) and husband Jackson Cromer. Debbie is a small group leader to teen girls at her church.
For 14 years, she faithfully served the city of Charlotte as a nurse for an orthopedic hand surgeon, but has recently retired to do what she is most passionate about - baking!
Her favorite colors are black and white; and her favorite vacation spots are Charleston, SC and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The Cooper family is originally from a small farming town in central Illinois. That was their home for years - that is, until they took a vacation in 1999 to Charlotte, NC. They fell in love with the community, the opportunities the city offered, and the warmer weather, and they decided to put down new roots. For 19 years, they have lived in south Charlotte.
Today, Chuck is the Managing Member of White Water Consulting and works part-time for Full HR. Both businesses are based in Charlotte.
Tyler and Christy blessed us with two Grandsons, Elliot Quinn and Coen Shepherd. Tyler is a Pastor on staff at Spotswood Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA and Christy started up her own Pediatric Occupational Therapy practice: Kaleidoscope O.T.
Kirsten and Erik live in Monroe, NC. Kirsten is working part-time in our Bakery and blessed us with our first Grand-daughter: Juliana Sage and a sweet baby boy: Simon Graham. Erik is employed as an Engineer in Stallings, NC as well as serving as our family's fix-it man.
Rachel and Jackson live in Charlotte, NC. Rachel works at Movement Mortgage in Ballantyne. and Jackson is employed by The Bond Exchange in Charlotte, NC. Harrison Douglas and Hadley Drew are their sweet additions.
Our sweet Grands: Elliot, Coen, Juliana, Harrison, Hadley.
About the Bakery
The Cooper family has always loved baking sweets together - sometimes for friends, sometimes for family, sometimes for no reason at all! So many of our family's memories, in fact, are of time spent together in the kitchen. Sweet Boutique Bakery was launched on September 4, 2013 so that we could continue making these memories by baking delicious sweets and to allow YOU to experience the sweet satisfaction of eating them!
Our commitment to you, the customer, is to provide delicious, fresh, made to order products, using only premium ingredients! We use local and organic when possible.
PLEASE NOTE: The Sweet Boutique Bakery is a virtual business run out of the Cooper home.
We do not - at this point - have a storefront.

We requested a vegan cowboy/Wild West themed cake for my son's 5th birthday party, and Debbie went above and beyond. The cake was so adorable with all of the extra touches she added, and it was one of the best tasting cakes we have ever had. She is wonderful and we will certainly be ordering for her again. Very highly recommended!
Debbie is so wonderful to work with. She responded to my emails so quickly, and was very detail oriented with my needs for a specially made cake for my daughter's 1st birthday. The availability of ingredients and ability to cater to special dietary needs is something she is seamless with. Our girl loved her cake (and cupcake that followed later in the day), and our guests raved about how delicious her cupcakes were. We definitely will be repeat customers for a long time!
The best chocolate cake EVER - and it was gluten free! Moist, great flavor, and looked beautiful.

Tyler Cooper -- 5 out of 5 -- "My mom is good at a lot of things. But my mom is GREAT at baking. And if anyone is qualified to say that...it's me. I've been enjoying her work for 26+ years!"
Celia Jimenez -- 5 out of 5 -- "Debbie Cooper is the most exceptional baker I know...every cookie is soft and chewy...every cake is moist...every cheesecake has the perfect delicate crust with the most exquisite filling...every bar has the perfect proportion of crumbly crust to fruit...and every parfait is scrumptious to the very last bite! Her passion and love for baking is deliciously transferred to every single thing she makes!"
Kirsten Cooper -- 5 out of 5 -- "At the Cooper house, no dinner is served without dessert and no dessert is less than exceptional. My mom has been famous for her baking for as long as I can remember. People are always showing up at our house specifically to get snacks. They follow us home from school, church, homeless shelters, wherever. She's the best. Everyone knows it."
